Currency trading sites.
If there is something WHO members know about its trading so what is the best site for a novice like me to join where I can do some currency trading in my spare time?

Something easy to navigate and understand.

I expect some absolute pelters but amongst all of that there might be one or two pieces of wisdom.

Don't understand all the fuss over bitcoins, nothing wrong with wholecoins.

Buy Bitcoin and have a look at it in three years later.

There's your profit.

My best MATE has set up a few companies training people up trading their own money on the Petroleum Exchanges... rents out a desk in one of the 3 offices he's got ... gives them advice... and charges them rent for the use of a desk etc... money for old rope but at least you are getting a knowledgeable head around to start you off.... that's what I'd do if I had the dollars to have a real dabble.

Oakfutures it's called

Remember to tell everyone within earshot you are shorting the fuck out of something, sounds impressive!

Either way you want to learn about Order Flow...again YouTube is your friend. And the financial platform I'm aware of is called Jigsaw.

Why not trade pre-race horses? Or sports in general?

Check out Bet Angel...plenty of videos on YouTube. Basically the same as with trading stocks/currency, but less money needed to get started, only pay commission on wins, and a potentially less sophisticated group of people doing it.

Note...I'm no good at it and haven't found an edge time in yet. But enjoying trying to research it and find a way.

There's probably more certainty in currency trading than giving your money to bookies...

Can't help thinking that the combination of novice plus spare time = separated from cash very quickly.

MT4 is a platform know throughout the city as the best way to part pensioners from their savings. It's a sad state of affairs that many unscrupulous currency trading firms target people that can ill afford to speculate.

IG index, using a demo account to start. You can use their MT4 chart or platform to place trades.

Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Have a scout around babypips.com(start with the school) & forexfactory.com for some education & various systems.

Best by far is UKForex now name changed to OFX. I am always changing up £'s into €'s and get the best rates from them -usually costs under a centime per £1 or if the official rate is 1.18€ to £1 you get 1.174€ for £1...

Re: Currency trading sites.
Did it for about 3 weeks.

First 2 weeks made good money. Used a support/resistance method and it seemed like free money.

However, week 3 came along and my luck ran out. Lost all my capital over about 3 days. I then realised that you can't judge it by how much profit you make at the end of a trading day, or even week.

Overall walked away with a very small profit that was nowhere near worth the time and grief.

Feel like a had a lucky escape.

Yep, that winner is generally referred to as 'the house'.

Buy high, sell low.

There's nothing that FX companies love more than a novice with money to burn, they will take your eyes out at every level.
